We are honored to offer this one-of-a-kind yarn produced locally on a small farm on the banks of the Minnesota River, just an hour southwest of the store. The Icelandic sheep which give us this yarn are loved and cared for in a very humane, predator friendly and eco conscious manner. This same care goes into the hand dying of the varigated colors.
We were fortunate to have Clara Parkes, author of The Knitter's Book of Yarn and knitter-in-chief of Knitter's Review, try out the Poppi. Read her fantastic review here.
