Capture the spirit of Autumn with a larger-than-life felted acorn and oak leaf. The acorn comes in 3 sizes: small, medium and large. The oak leaf measures, after felting, about 19 inches long. It makes a whimsical centerpiece or trivet for your holiday table!

Materials:

Acorn: Nut: 1 skein 100% wool yarn of appropriate weight, see chart below, in a brown-toned color. Cap: 1 skein 100% wool yarn of appropriate weight, see chart below, in a color complimentary to the brown nut, such as a darker brown.

Optional: 1 skein novelty yarn (such as Crystal Palace Fizz) to carry along with 'cap' yarn create the hairy-like edge to the acorn's cap.
Oak Leaf: 2 skeins (245 yards each) worsted weight 100% wool yarn in either one color or two different colors.
